Sample Description
Pinus taeda and Suillus decipiens is a compatible interaction pair. The seeds of Pinus taeda were collected from Georgia. Healthy pine seedlings were grown in phytotron condition. Spores of ectomycorrhizal fungi Suillus decipiens were collected from North Carolina. For analysis, root tips were collected at the fourth stage of inoculation (G3) – fungal sheath and Hartig-net are complete, the size of the short root tips is enlarged at least three times compared to G0 stage.
