Project Description
In this study we sequenced the genome of the broad host range pathogen Colletotrichum incanum MAFF 238704 isolated from Raphanus sativus leaves in Japan. Through subsequent genome and transcriptome comparisons with a closely related mutualistic Colletotrichum species, we were searching for genomic signatures associated with the two different lifestyles (pathogenic vs. mutualistic) and investigating their evolutionary relationship.
